Make sure to backup all your data<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>By default, the default laptop has only one partition, namely drive C.<br \/>\nThis is very risky if there is trouble with Windows, because when we want to reinstall Windows, usually it will be formatted on the drive used, imagine if all data is stored on drive C only.<br \/>\nAnd if there is trouble with windows then to save data you have to take the hard drive to another computer for backup.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the author highly recommends dividing the hard disk partition into several partitions, the author usually divides the partition into 3 partitions namely C, D and E. The amount of C is around 100-150 gb specifically for windows and applications, drives D and E can be determined according to need .<\/p>\n<p>However, the bad impact of changing partitions specifically for Lenovo laptops is that the <strong>One Key Recovery<\/strong> feature becomes an error when refreshed, but don&#8217;t worry, the recovery function to its initial state can still be done manually.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Show_hidden_partition_via_ubuntu_linux_boot\"><\/span>2. Show hidden partition via ubuntu linux boot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On the hard disk, the Lenovo manufacturer has actually prepared an initial image containing the initial state windows of our laptop, but by default the image is stored in a hidden <strong>PBR_DRV<\/strong> partition<\/p>\n<p>There are 3 default hidden partitions from Lenovo, namely <strong>WINRE_DRV, SYSTEM_DRV, PBR_DRV<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bagi2info.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/diskpart.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"290\" height=\"220\" class=\"wp-image-804\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bagi2info.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/diskpart-290x220.jpg\" alt=\"diskpart\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are searching on the internet, including on the official Microsoft website, there are two ways to display hidden partitions via the <strong>diskpart<\/strong> command, namely <strong>ATTRIBUTES and SET ID:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DISKPART&gt; select disk 0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>DISKPART&gt; list partition<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>DISKPART&gt; select partition 1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>DISKPART&gt; partition details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CLEAR HIDDEN VOLUME ATTRIBUTES<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>HIDDEN SET VOLUME ATTRIBUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p><strong>SET ID = 07 OVERRIDE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, after trying these two commands, the author failed to display hidden partitions<\/p>\n<p>But there is another way, which is to boot from usb with the Linux Ubuntu operating system<\/p>\n<p>How to make a boot usb is to download the <a href=\"https:\/\/rufus.akeo.ie\/\">Rufus<\/a> iso writer application then download the iso image from ubuntu, finally write the iso with Rufus.<\/p>\n<p>After that boot into linux ubuntu and run the <strong>Gparted<\/strong> application then show hidden partitions with <strong>Manage Flags and uncheck Hidden<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bagi2info.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/GParted-View-unallocated-Partition.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"290\" height=\"220\" class=\"wp-image-806\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bagi2info.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/GParted-View-unallocated-Partition-290x220.jpg\" alt=\"GParted View unallocated Partition\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Write_the_Installwim_image_to_drive_C\"><\/span>3. Write the Install.wim image to drive C:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After the partition is successfully displayed, enter the following path <strong>\u201cLENOVO_PART\\OKRBackup\\Factory\\\u201d<\/strong> via the command prompt.<\/p>\n<p>Then display the <strong>Install.wim<\/strong> file by setting file attributes with the command<strong> attrib -s -h<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally type the following command to write the installation image to drive c:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dism \/apply-image \/imagefile:d:\\Install.wim \/index:1 \/ApplyDir:c:\\<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few days ago my laptop had problems due to viruses and often crashed, long story short, windows had to be reinstalled.
